Pharos Solutions Group provides independent evaluation of physical and mental firefighter protection systems to determine whether they are performing the way leadership believes they are.
Most departments have strong programs in place—decontamination, exposure control, and workforce support systems designed to protect their people.
The issue is not whether those programs exist.
The issue is whether they perform consistently across shifts, under real operational conditions.

About Mike Saylor
Mike Saylor is a Fire Captain and Paramedic in Phoenix, Arizona, with more than four decades of operational experience across the fire service, military, and private sector.
He has operated at every level of the system—from the station floor to organizational leadership—where decisions carry real consequences.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he built and led a 30-person decontamination program for a major metropolitan fire department, operating 24/7, across more than 60 stations.
That work reinforced a pattern seen throughout his career:
